For sale is a Wilderness Equipment second arrow tent that has never been used.

The original tent was bought in 2008 and used once for 2 nights and then replaced by WE last year under warranty (there was a bad batch of silnylon flys).

This is the replacement tent that is for sale and has never been used. The fly, inner and front pole are all new. The only parts from the old tent are the rear pole, pegs and bag.

$400 plus postage.

Is it the new version with increased headroom?
Does the inner door have a nylon as well as mesh cover?
What is the trailweight for wet and windy conditions?

Yes it is the new version with increased headroom (which is why WE also had to supply a new inner and front pole when they replaced the fly, as the original tent was the lower version).
The inner is full nylon, with both mesh and nylon on the two doors (there's a small door at the back for ventilation and to access a small rear vestibule for keeping boots etc).
As for weight, do you want actual weight as opposed to manufacturer's stated weight? If so I can weigh as set up in the photos (both fly and inner, two poles, guy lines and 7 pegs).
The WE website has a minimum weight of 2.28 and a packed weight of 2.57, though I'm not sure if that is for the older or newer version.
I just noticed the first photo makes the tent look pink - the colour is actually terracotta, a dark red.

How soon do you need the weight? The tent is at my folks' place so I could get it tomorrow night or the night after.

Hi John
I've weighed the tent including the following:
* fly
* inner
* guy lines
* 7 pegs (3 star pegs for tunnel ends and 4 regular for guy lines, though the tent comes with more than this)
* two poles
This is what would be needed to pitched out for adverse weather and is how it is pitched in the photos.
I get a total weight of 2.45 kg.
If you wished to seam seal this may add slightly more weight (50g or so if a tube of sealant was added).
