FS (East Gipp VIC) Salewa Sarec 2p BP tent : SOLD !

This Salewa Sarec is rated as a 2 person 3 season tent and it is quite roomy inside with a floor area of 2200 X 1350. This tent has been very lightly used and is in VGC.
This is an "inner pitch 1st" tent, a two pole dome with a 3rd smaller eye-brow pole for the vestibule, strong floor fabric, high tub-sides and lower and upper thirds fabric with the central third mesh. Inner also has storage pockets at each end and a gear loft and a smaller door in the rear inner wall allowing internal access to a 2nd vestibule which would take a pack fine....no external access to this area though. Main vestibule is large though and has ample room for storage or cooking in poor weather. Flysheet is a dark green (a bit darker than the pics) and goes virtually to the ground all-round. Two upper vents with props allow for good air circulation and these can be velcro'd shut in bad weather. 4 guy-out points keep it all stable in the wind and the tent when fully pegged and guyed-down is very solid and stable. This tent while not "4 season rated" has quite steep sides and it would handle some light snow but I would not rate it as an "alpine tent" as such.
This tent did have some issues with the tape that seals the underside of the fly seams lifting in parts so I have removed all that and fully sealed all the under-fly stitching with McNett SeamGrip and done the major ones on the outside of the tent fly with SeamGrip as well. The flysheet is now 100% waterproof and all seams are totally sealed following this work and some serious blasting with the hose recently failed to allow a drop of water to get in thru the fly. Apart from this the tent has no issues at all.....no rips or tears anywhere, alloy poles & zips all good, it has a full set of LW alloy pegs & original Salewa bags for tent, poles & pegs. The tent also comes with a Salewa dedicated groundsheet to add further protection to the tent floor if needed & this is in it's own storage bag.
Weights : everything : tent inner & fly, pegs, poles, footprint and all storage bags.....3kg Footprint alone in its bag is : 285g Looking for $100 for this plus postage which would be $18 via a 5kg satchel. PM me if interested. Cheers
