Eldon Peak - well, the campsite 100m or so west of the summit. One small grey bag with 6 Tarptent pegs (gold, white cord loops) and 2 titanium Y pegs (grey, with red and white loops).
I know it's not likely anyone will find them, but just in case . . .

I would, but theres only one thing stopping me........its called fitness...or lack of it

You don't need to be particularly fit, just stubborn. It's worked for me so far.
If going in just for the pegs I probably wouldn't do the whole range, just paddle up to the South Eldon, and do as quick a climb up to the summit camp as possible. Camp overnight and go back down.
But someone will have been in there by the time I can do that, so . . .

I do stubborn quite well. You make it sound very easy, although I have a feeling it would take me 4 days to do what you do in 2
Last time I walked over 1000 mtrs elevation in a day I walked 10 steps and rested for 1 minute....10 steps, rest 1 minute.....repeat until it flattens out or I reach a peak. You would be in stitches of laughter after the first 4 hours

When Martin did the Eldons with Dan they had a 5 hour sidetrip to climb Marble Bluff, then packed up and left the forest camp to climb Eldon Peak, which took them about 6 hours. The three of us took something like 10 hours, just to go over Eldon Peak to the summit camp, and while I wasn't the slowest I was a long way from being the fastest. Of course, them two had perfect weather and the three of us had some rather nasty stuff, but even in ideal walking conditions I doubt I could do it in any less than 8 hours with a full pack. There's a fair bit of boulder scrambling and some patches of scrub on that ascent.

If I'm in the area I'll carry them out, but you would owe me a slab for carrying the extra weight!

A slab just for carrying less than 100g?
Be cheaper to buy new pegs.

Oh yeah!
I have some pegs that went AWOL on the Franklands too - if anyone comes across them I'd like them back - but I'm not holding my breath!

I came just after you and didn't see a thing
I did get a walking pole torn off of my pack on that track, somewhere while pushing through some thick scrub near Koruna Peak.
