Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Is the inner tent solid or mesh?
Wed 06 May, 2015 2:51 pm
Hey Legend, thanks for the question - it's a solid inner and will certainly suffice for a 4 season tent!

Seam sealed?

All of the details are on the website. It's safe to say the answer is yes since it's designed to withstand rain AND snow.

Tarptents do no come seam sealed from the factory unless it is requested (and paid for) at the time of ordering.

Ahh I see. Unfortunately they don't provide a detailed receipt for my purchase so I am unsure if I ordered it with seems sealed. I don't specifically remember ordering it so I am going to assume maybe not.

Based on my recent job on my Tarptent, seam sealing is easy and about $10 all up. Trivial.

Yeah, I just did some reading, sounds like it would be easy to do it yourself. I wouldn't let it stop me buying this tent - it really is amazing. If I didn't need something in bright orange I wouldn't be selling it.

Why do you think you need blaze for the tent?
Ask S358 his opinion before you sell it
I have never seen the need myself even if I wear blaze when stalking A Hi-Vis vest draped over the ridgeline would seem to be adequate or are you worried by the chance of being shot by electric doggers>??

It's just personal preference. A few weeks ago in QLD we were using swags (my preference when hunting) and just had a few minor issues, one of which was that someone moving a vehicle nearly ran me over due to blending into the ground. But ultimately it's just my preference, I want something that I am certain can't be mistaken for where I am camping.

OK A good enough reason
OzHunt used to make and sell a big blaze orange tarp but no longer do so but I assume you want a proper tent and not just a tarp

Yeah really after a proper tent. KUIU make an ultralight tent in Orange that suits my needs.

One Planet Goondie is another good option in orange.
