[WTB] Bivy

Bivy wanted. I use tarps, ultralight pyramid shelters, would like to add a Bivy to my stable I would have a use for it on various trips.

I have a Borah Gear side zip bivy I would part with. It's long/wide sizing. Argon 67 top and sil nylon bottom. Think it weighs around 200 give or take (I'm not home right now to check the weight). Upgraded to a MLD cuben superlight so it's unneeded now.

EDIT: It retails for $95 USD. Will sell for $100 plus postage.

I have some LW Tyvek here I can let you have cheap if you want to sew one up
Same stuff Evan uses for his SB covers and if buy the proper tape they don't even need to be sewn

Still open to prospects. Not in a rush Strider I looked at the marmot, looks great but over 900g. I just got lucky with an OR deluxe Bivy strong one from the US will have it soon which will sit in my kit for quick alpine camps. Depending on the experience I may be keen to add others to my collection. Currently I use a tarp as like a hoochie when I want to cut weight or just hold it down with some pegs and lie under it if setting up in a hurry and looking for a low profile. I can use my poles to support a tarp, I enjoy the tarp sometimes when the weathers not too strongly windy. Tarps are good for head cover if the weather turns unpleasant.
