Sounds about right for a bag with a 30D shell. I have a bag that is 1.3kg with 700g down fill.

A little puzzling. It was my understanding that the Cocoons use(d) 800 loft down, not 700, and less than 650grams of it,unless of course it has been ordered with overfill.
OP do make running changes to stuff but the shell of a Cocoon is very light, and even with 650 grams of down, I would expect weight to be under 1kg. I had one for a time, and it was under 1kg, but I don't remember the exact weight. It also contained extra down for a total of 600grams (IIRC) of down.

Hi guys,
This bag is from 2009 the shell seems pretty heavy duty - I would estimate 30d. I will try and get an update on the material today.
Cheers,
J.

Nope, I was wrong...
Had another dig around and it is a Bungle 650 Small LH. It also uses 30D Vapour Vent fabric.
Apologies for the mixup!
Seems like I can only edit my last two posts. Too long since the original post to change the title?

just wonder Jeremy, does the above weight still apply? Can't find the exact model to check specifications. But am interested in your bag

HI Kaite,
Unfortunately it is still true. The weight on the tag says 1216g and upon weighing it... it is 1216g.
It has double zips which allows it to open out completely flat and a bunch of bells and whistles (including an internal zippered pocket) which may add to this weight... but certainly not UL!

It's obviously lovely and clean if it's still the same weight as when it left the factory
