Hi Kitty. Is your issue with the new pockets the change to the top clip?

The clip, yes, it would be nice to have a pockets with a clip that suits my existing harness - however Tim has informed me how to attached the newer pockets to the harness.
But also the strut, which is now in the middle of the pocket instead of the outer edge - I wonder if I would need to re-arrange my hipbelt in order to get them in the right position. Easily done but I like my existing hipbelt set-up

I bought a Natural Exhilaration from BPL on Saturday. Despite being the current model Tim didn't think it would be an issue using my existing Expedition balance pockets with the diagonal stays. I have since trial fitted and they do seem to sit in the correct position when compared to my Guiding Light. The only modification the NE did require was to unpick the additional row of stitching in the balance pocket holsters to accommodate the wider stays.

Thanks Strider. Is the new hipbelt much different from the old? If I cannot source the older pockets I will get a pair of the new ones - I have no doubt they will work fine, the packs are incredibly adjustable.

My two packs have different hipbelt designs (NE auto-form, GL pelvic-form), so I'm not sure if anything significant has changed. I have noticed some minor changes in the website imagery though.
