Don't know. The whole situation was very strange.

Maybe email PV. I cannot recall which office manages that region, but Geelong would be a good place to start.

Like most Lost & Found this really should be handed in to the local police station, remember that if it remains unclaimed for 3 months it is legally yours.
My brother scored a full 3 section 11 metre extension ladder this way

Moondog, I stand corrected. To the nearest POlice Station and maybe advise PWS. I found a very nice hammer drill and a big heavy box of screws, Ramsets, fasteners and the like once. After three months they were mine.
