- Sil-rocket in use
I'm selling my near-new
Luxe Sil-rocket tarp tent for $200 plus postage. It's a light, versatile tent in excellent condition. I used it on just one overnight walk, for 3 nights, and there are a couple of minor cosmetic marks. I've also replaced a couple of the Luxe tent pegs with better, longer pegs (as recommended in the review below).
In use the sil-rocket is a cosy, lightweight tent (just over 1.1kg!), with the mesh inner (nest) suspended from the sil-nylon fly/tarp. You use a trekking pole at the entrance for stability and headroom. I also used a short pole at the foot of the tent to increase footroom and airflow. But you can also pitch the fly in various tarp formations, as illustrated here

UK hiking guru Chris Townsend gave the Luxe a good review here

In case you're wondering, I'm selling it because I'm upgrading to a Hilleberg Enan, and because I'm a klutz with tarps (!!)
