Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Mountain Designs XL
To suit a 42-44 inch chest over a fleece or pile layer
It really doesn't fit me anymore.
It is very warm and really better suited to New Zealand winter or high mountains anywhere and has many decades of life left in it.
Yes it isn't Uber lite but it is overstuffed for a reason.
I am selling simply because it is too small for me now
Some small modifications to improve fit around the collar and for sleeping comfort and warmth, including an insulated crutch piece to stop the parka riding up when sleeping in it.
1100 grams in the stuff sack
Serious offers over $250- contemplated
Pictures to follow in the next post

I've just had a communication from Richard Nisley at BPL
He says this duvet parka would be rated to -72F for "Camp Chores"
I am assuming that this is over the normal fleece layer usually worn and in the absense of any wind
Mountain Designs rated this garment for -30C so I am going to assume that was to account for low O2 levels above 6km
He told me that there are ony 3 garments warmer in the market place at the moment

Who-ever buys this will also get the DBStuff Polartec 300 jacket I had custom made to go under this parka because it will never fit me again across the shoulders

Here are the pix
Long line jacket
Reinforced shoulders
Chest pockets with windproof fabric
Big stash pockets on the lower half
On its own a seriously warm garment
