What’s your reasons for not wanting to use it?
What shelter do you prefer in place of this?

Hi PR , I bought it because of its low weight and general reviews like the in depth analysis on backpacking light dot com , compared to the plexamid. I had the plexamid and its stays broke like everyone else's. I asked Zpacks if they could upgrade me to a Duplex and they said yes ( with just the price difference between duplex and plexamid ) I thought their customer service was great. I actually love the duplex. However the lower wt of the Aeon Li was too enticing. I guess I bought it because I was too curious to try it out and my brother indicated he wanted to hike with me. The interior is definitely roomier than the plexamid because the walls slant up higher. I found closing the vestibule doors a little tedious. However after a few goes its not too bad actually and it's about the same awkwardness as the doors on the plexamid and duplex. ( closing them from the inside because you have to crawl out a little - outside they're all easy ) I actually wish that all 3 tents had zippered closures; it would make them easier to close.
I also have a Tarptent Stratospire Li and that's my go to tent with my wife as there's no chance of rubbing the inside of the fly and getting wet if there's condensation. The SS Li provides a bit more wind protection as well so its more of a 4 season tent. And it has zippered vestibules. I would classify the Plexamid , Aeon Li and Duplex as 3.5 season , only because of the potential of drafts coming in. However in all these tents proper pitching into the wind and lowering the pole heights goes a long way.
If my brother ever goes walking with me I'll give him the SSLi

$750 negotiable prefer pick up.
(7 stakes included )
Thanks
