[LOST] Camera, Mt Anne Carpark

Today (12/03/2010) I did the return trip to Mt Anne Summit. When I got back, I accidentally left my camera on the ground. I left the carpark around 16:45, and returned around 19:20, but it was gone.

If you picked up my camera, please please please contact me as soon as possible. I really want the photos stored on it. I don't even care about the camera - just the memory card.

Tried the parks office, but no luck ;( I might go and hit the outdoor stores in town.

Ah well, I guess I'll always have the fuzzy, low res, poorly encoded memories

Some people don't think to hand it in at the Parks office and might hand it in at the Police station. Worth a try. Likely you will need to go into a station and complete a lost property report.
I have a lot of photos from the Mt Anne area, is there anything in particular that you took that you would like? PM or email me & I will see what I can find.

Yeah, the police was my next point of call; I discovered on saturday that they're closed on weekends, so will give them a buzz tomorrow.

I've actually just moved to New Zealand from Tasmania (caught a 6 am flight this morning), and don't know when i'll be back, so might have to get my old flatmate to pretend to be me or something for the lost property report :/.

Thanks for the offer of photos, tasadam; I'm just a bit of a photo hoarder, and there's now a gaping hole in my collection that may never be filled (until I can make it back to tassie to do the mt anne summit again). However, if you happen to have a picture of me standing on the summit, send it through

Well Adam is rather clever on photo manipulation.. send him a pic of yourself and im sure he'd be able to stitch something up
