these were bought by me for my youngest when 'Mountain Designs' was a going thing and I think sold better quality stuff.
Made in Italy. Unisex size M.
They are full thickness over the entire sock and properly thick. Size M.
So would fit mens sizes 7-10 and or womens sizes 8-11. They come up to the bottom/half way up the calf depending on how tall you are. Could even be good bed socks.
They have the 'M" for the size and 'Mountain Design' stitched in.

They were the top of their range and the most expensive ones Mountain Designs sold. Reinforced cushioning toe and heel. Very high merino component.
Zero Elastane/lycra!
About 80% merino and some poly from memory.
Paid $32 for each pair.

We inspected them and gave them another wash to ensure they are spotless. They are just drying in the shade as I type.
One pair was never (I'm pretty sure-show no sign of wear that I can tell) worn. The other once the nipper thinks.
Both are in excellent condition -just one looks like it has been used very lightly. The other looks to my eyes, new.
