Hi, have you got a fabulous chest bag for hiking? Basically a backpack in reverse, sits on your chest firmly strapped in and allows you to get stuff when you need it straight away rather than using a backpack. I use mine heaps, carry my garmin 66sr sat GPS plus snake kit, torches, knife, so much can be carried in them. If you want to know more contact me. I can't believe how functional they are

Both of my Aarn packs with front ‘balance pockets’ are perfect for front pocket access. I have a largish one for multi day and a smallish one for day walks or walks where I don’t need to carry a lot of studpff.

If I’m away on multi day hikes I have what I call an ‘admin pouch’ on the chest strap of my pack. It’s just a fold out military style pouch with all my essential kit, emergency stuff, etc. If I am at camp and taking a walk to get water, look at a view, get a phone signal, go toilet, etc I always take this pouch or put it on my belt. Works for me!
