I found an expensive sleeping pad last weekend 06/11/10 in the bush area near Baw Baw village. If you think it is yours, please send me a PM with: Brand, Size, Colour and approximate track. I'll be happy to post it to you.

Good on you for taking this step to try and find the owner. Maybe a lost property report is / will be filed at the local police station? If someone makes an insurance claim, they may need a police report or statement perhaps.
And if Parks manage the area and there is an office nearby, could be worth asking there. Hope it helps.
