yikes! negative 18C ?? thats a very warm bag.
Even camping out at kosciuszko over the past few weekends on snow wasnt that cold, even in the middle of winter.

You've got some very hardcore gear, were you planning an overseas expedition?

Actually i own one of these my self and yes i am planning an overseas expedition, in India, I saw these in mountain designs cheap so i thought hey some of the guys on bushwalk or gumtree (local clasafieds site) might appreciate one of these, the reason i bought this was the extremely durable fabric and its so warm i can use it with a hammock in winter. Im also selling a Mountain hardware spectre its rated to -7 degrees celcius and has the same fabric as the heavier bag however it is 1.2 kg and is selling for $525 with free postage !
