I am selling a custom made Kooka Bay down pad that has a R Value of approximately 5.9. I purchased it off backpackinglight.com in the US and have just received it today- unfortunately it is going to be too narrow for me

I'm selling at the same price I paid for it, $125 plus postage.
Here is the seller's description from BPL:
"I have a Kooka Bay Down Air Mat for sale. Patterned after the Exped Downmat 7 with 6oz of down that should be equal to R 5.9 and a lower limit of -11*F. 72x20x2.5 weighing 22.4oz with included Big Agnes Pumphouse stuff sack/pump. Used for six nights down to 6* and was toasty warm."

Quick bump, no interest in a pad with an R value of 5.9 that weight under 650 grams? I thought someone would be all over this

May be interested, could you post a pic, how does it compare to a downmat 9? And what pump system does it use.

Sorry but the mat has been sold earlier via PM!
To answer your questions anyway, it uses a stuff sack/pump combo so the down doesn't accumulate moisture. And the Downmat 9 has a higher R rating but weighs 980 grams so quite a bit more (from an UL perspective

A custom order from Kookabay is on the cards for me. I noticed Bender said thickness doesn't add a lot of weight so it would be interesting to see what sort of 9cm thickness down mat he could produce. I'm short so I could go for a 60" mummy style. Also noticed Exped are releasing UL versions of their downmats next year.

REALLY? Id be extremely interested in a UL version, link?
