Wanted:
6 Easton Stakes (either size - called Nano and Backpacker on Moontrail)
Also some (a little bit about 2 yards) lightweight uncoated Nylon for a MYOG project. (e.g. 1.1Oz Uncoated Ripstop)

Should be able to get the uncoated nylon from Spotlight (if you have them in SA).

OK sweet, might try that. I vaguely remember seeing a sailing shop selling it in Aus as well, but can't remember which.

much heavier than that ; closer to 2.6oz, not bad stuff tho.
look for ends of rolls and always ask for a decent discount if there is less than 2m of the roll left

Bought some recently at Spotlight in the city. Had to hunt though, the rolls were buried. Cost was $8 something per metre. They had black, pink and a couple of other colours, perhaps yellow. Which store did you go to? I also tried Lincraft but they didn't seem to have anything suitable. They did have some heavier outdoor nylons though.

Sorry I meant Lincraft (found the Taslan but any lightweight nylon). Would really prefer the lighter weight stuff if possible.

Well, I bought 4m. It weighs 418g. No idea how to relate that to Oz or whatever the measure is.
Saw the taslan too, but no idea what I was looking at
Spotlight is real close to Lincraft in the mall, next building east...

Moontrail
has them in stock, $2.09 a piece. They also have the nano (6") version. They'd be here by now...
I've got some but you can't have them

Hmmm. Let me check how many I've got in my peg bag. I must admit I mostly use my groundhog/y stakes and needle stakes though i do like my eastons for tough ground. As for nylon I've got a whole heap of woodland cammo coming. If I've got any left overs after I finish my underquilt I can let you know. I've got a small piece of silnylon left (yellow) but I don't think it's 2 yards worth.

Right I've got 4 nine inch long backpackers and 4 six inch long nanos. Id want to keep 2 (don't care which type) but if your interested message me and Im sure we can organise something.
