Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Hey all,
I'm in the process of clearing out a few things and thought I'd see if anyone would like this backpack. Its about 7 years old and has seen a fair bit of the world but is still in pretty decent shape. It would be suited to some a little taller (though the harness is adjustable) and is roughly 75L. Anyhow I live in Highgate Hill, so if anyone would like to drop by and pick it up, PM me and we can go from there.
cheers
Rafael.

If I were in QLD I'd gladly take it off your hands. You could always just take it to the Salvos and get a few $$$ for it.

Where's high gate hill in relation to the Gold Coast?
I'll be interested in this pack. Could get my sister to pick up, if it's not to far away.

Hey pazzar, thats always an option, in any event, Id rather see someone using it then it gathering dust. Having replaced my old sleeping bag, tent and mat with lightweight gear over the last year I just find its too big for 99% of trips that I do.
Phillip, Highgate Hill is a stones throw from the Brisbane CBD, so probably a bit far for your sister to drop round.
Leaving town in about 3 weeks so would like to pass it on before then.

thanks again rafael, good to have a chat with you.
if you're keen on going to mt maroon you can find some info here..
http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/parks/mount- ... about.htmlhttp://www.aussiebushwalking.com/qld/mt ... /mt_maroonthe cotswald track is still open despite what the second website says. the walk is not on a maintained/signed path but i found the footpad very easy to follow and didn't need to use my map... altho it wouldn't be a bad idea i guess, drop me a pm if you'd like to borrow my map or pick one up from world wide maps in the cbd. it took the girlfriend & i about 2hrs each way to do the walk and it was about a 1hr30min drive out there. take plenty of water as it's a thirsty climb!
cheers,

no worries dan, good to meet you as well. Unfortunately a couple of things came up so no bushwalking today but thanks for the links, will hopefully get out there before summer puts an end to ridge walking.
