Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

This is an almost new Tarptent, used on several trips only. It's been seamsealed, and always used with a groundsheet - no marks or any damage at all. It comes with pegs and the optional clip in liner.
Weight of the tent for ultralight afficionados is 1.165kg, plus 100g or so for the clip in liner.
http://www.tarptent.com/pdf/doublerainbow.pdfThis is a great 2 person tent - fully mozzie proof, 2 separate doors, easy side entry and light weight. Would be a great tent for someone new to ultralighting.
Being a tent tragic, I'm upgrading to the newest model from Taptent!
RRP for the tent plus liner is US$290 - delivery from the US is extra on a new tent.
Asking A$240 plus postage.

Hi
Can you please clarify how old the tent is. Interested to know also if this is the same as shown on the
Tarptent website currently. Also do you have an idea of the postage to 6018.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Melinda,
Yep it's the StratoSpire 2 - it arrived on Saturday, and it's just an awesome design - incredibly roomy, goes up with 2 trekking poles, and can be pitched as the net tent alone which is hwat I need for the subtropics up here.
Cheers,

Hi Andrew,
The tent is about 2 years old - it was my first Tarptent and I have bought several since then - all great designs and very light.
I think the 2011 model may be an inch larger all round - length and width. If that's critical for you, I'll see if I can find out. But in appearance it's exactly the same as on the website currently.
Let me know if you need any more info.
Cheers,
KK

Thanks for getting back to me but I decided to go with a Scarp 1 since asking about this.

Is it not selling new for US$260 + shipping?
Would you take a lower price for this?

I realise this threat is little old now, but are you still selling?
