Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Looks like I need some cross-country skis for this winter.
Any members upgrading this season and want a quick sale ??
I need a waxless base with a binding that will fit my old Scarpa Nortour boots, I am 185 tall so any ski from 185 though to 200 would be considered .My Op-Shop Trak skis are a little too short for me at 180cm and the binding doesn't have enough lift for the thickness of the sole.
My preferred binding is the Voille 3-pin + cable.
Cheap waxless Traks on offer as I will not need them $10- pick-up.

Hmmm.
Moondog from memory Jeremy was selling some in his mass sell out of gear. Can't recall length etc but ill see if I can't find the thread.

These items are also now in Camden, rather than Newtown.
Cheers,
Jeremy.

Yes I know. And sorry. I wasn't very helpful (absent minded today). I've posted my Salomon twin tips from Sydney to Warnambool when I sold them so I can tell you for a fact you'd be paying more in postage than for the skis

Yes and no. I had a bad fall on them and tore my acl, mcl, lcl and ripped off a tendon. So whilst I loved them (and my previous 1080's...Salomon make great skis), I just couldn't look at them without feeling a little queezy. Fear not they've been replaced by volkl kenjas
And yes we digress. Bump for moondog to find some new skis

I've got some 190cm Atomic Rainers that aren't being used much. They're the ones on the right here:
clicky.
They're a little wide for your leathers (60mm underfoot) and the Black Diamond O3 bindings are overkill, but they'd be fine for cruising around the High Plains or whatever.

Waxless?? I am not familiar with the current crop of skis not having had to buy for a decade or so.

Hmmm that's a tough one, I have no idea! Make an offer? I'll be passing through Geelong next Saturday so can call in for you to take a look at them if you want.

Im not sure wether Julia would be interested in selling at this time.

Well if you ever want something that also rips on the down, check out the Voile Vector BCs...fish scale bottoms!
Fri 02 Mar, 2012 11:40 am
Nice but out of my price range at the moment.
Fri 02 Mar, 2012 3:38 pm
so do you want something more for the down or more XC? cos that's gonna be heavier but you can rip some steep stuff with it...the reviews look amazing for what it is

Cross country capability more important, price being the big consideration as the WE pack hasn't sold and that money was going towards the bindings.
For telemarking i have plenty to choose from as all the "OLD-Fashioned" stuff was ending up in the rubbish at Falls Creek and I have a few pairs of old downhills which are more than suitable for ripping the slopes

The title of this thread is misleading. Who on Earth would want Geelong???????????????!
