Hi Nifty, Iv'e just been talking to someone using them for similar to what we discussed and they apparently do fit (size uk 11) (must be the shallower toe box). I'm trying his out for size tomorrow, standby

Why the shallow toe box?
My Supergaiters actually fit these boots as well as my leathers, i probably shouldn't sell mine as the would be better for my next trip to the US that the heavier leather boots

Most at size 11 seem to max out the binding adjustment on snowblades m'dog, even if they fit the binding the toe box has been too deep for the toe binding to lock over (thanks anyway)...

I have that problem with mine too. The bindings are designed for ski boots not mountain boots. I really would like proper Figle bindings too

Do you mean those little figl skis from the early eighties? Geez I remember those.
Speaking of odd bindings.... Does anyone remember those soft boot bindings on downhill skis that used a sort of lever system with a spring that rested on your calf? I think you could rent them at buller for a while... Late seventies maybe?
Sorry Nuts for the diversion.
