Hey there
Going to tassie to do overland track and just realised my la sportiva approach shoes and la sportiva mountaineering boots won't be appropriate.....I live in Canberra and I appeal to anyone who could lend me size 10 walking boots.
I am moving back to the uk in 2 months and can't carry another pair of boots back, so that I can't buy any

why would your approach shoes/boots be unsuitable?

Last November I did a 60km walk to break in my Nepal Evo GTX in Kosciuszko. No probs there. I'm assuming you have the same pair?
Finding someone to borrow shoes from might Be tricky

Perhaps buy some cheap runners eg Dunlop KT26 - avail from Big W for about $30. Not waterproof, but dry fairly quickly.
