Where to buy women's Boulder X approach shoes?

Postby Tortoise » Tue 29 Sep, 2015 2:06 pm

Not sure where to post this...

I'm trying to find a distributor in Australia of La Sportiva Women's Boulder X approach shoes.

As far as i can find, only the Men's is available in Australia. They can't be shipped from Nth America to Australia. I could take the plunge into shipping companies, but as my feet are notoriously difficult to fit, I'd rather be looking at return shipping within Australia. But really, I want to be able to try them on first.

I'll be passing through Sydney soon, and hoped I'd have more chance of finding them there. No luck so far from googling.

Has anybody found them in Oz in general, or Sydney in particular?

Hi Tortoise,

Have you tried Mountain Equipment in Sydney? (491 Kent Street). I had a quick look on their website but it doesn't say if they are men's or women's though ($200). Might be worth giving them a call as I've got them to order in some La Sportiva Olympus Mons and Spantiks before and have always found them very helpful. Me have no affiliation with them, just find them good to deal with. Good luck

Hi Horsecat,

Yep, I have tried them. Men's only - several sizes too big for me. :( Apparently not enough women are interested to make it viable to sell them. Thanks for the thoughts, though. (Where are you all, ladies??? Not peak-bagging in Tassie, obviously. )
