LOST AXE WESTERN ARTHUR RANGE

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

LOST AXE WESTERN ARTHUR RANGE

Postby Wilbur » Thu 14 Jul, 2016 8:10 am

Hi all,

I have lost a Grivel Ice axe pictured below in the Western Arthur Range on the 8th of July. It was lost somewhere between High Moor and Haven Lake. It holds some sentimental value and if someone were to find it i would appreciate they contact me on here and return it.

Cheers :)

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought you may have been doing an Alexander Pearce reenactment trip - and eating your companions as you progressed along the range. The photo is somewhat comforting......

You could contact PWS and major BW clubs, especially those with trips in the region when the axe was lost.

I was about to explode as I recalled the remains of campfires at Cygnus & Oberon on my last visit. Yes, the photo is a relief.
