Can anyone tell me where I can buy/obtain a pulk (ie snow sled) in Australia? I can get one from overseas but the shipping charges are phenomenal. The model I have in mind is the Paris Company Expedition Pulk. Thanks

I'd be calling the Anarctic Division down in Hobart and asking about that.

Contact Wilderness Sports in Jindabyne.

Or maybe contact the local SES (presuming there is snow around there sometimes) and ask whether they have one and where they got it

[Vic Melb] I have a pulk copied on a Norwegian model back in the 1980s, made of fiberglass with downhill skis as runners with a aluminum/ pvc harness. It works very well. I have lots of experience towing sleds (skipatrol, commercial tours etc). Haven't used it for years. Are you interested?
