I recently upgraded to a Thermarest Neoair Xtherm, so can't sell but my thoughts are go with the 3/4. It'll also depend on her confidence, adventurousness and resilience whether 3/4 is ok or not. For below the mat, I will use the pack & CCF/spare clothes to put my legs up. This will reduce the weight of her pack which will make the walk more comfortable and less demanding. CCF does double duty as a seat for lunch stops. Oh and I'm a 175 tall woman. The 3/4 mat will also inflate faster which she will appreciate later on as they don't inflate all that much without the pump. If 2 of you have very similar mat, a pump can be shared between you to reduce weight further. I've only tried the mat at home but will post reports later after its first use in the field.
