Use of a private hut/shack in Tas?

Looking at Thurs – Fri nights next week with a friend who needs some time out. Limit at the mo is about 4 km pretty flat walking in with packs, so considering non-pack carrying options as well.

Our dream list:
• A very basic little hut/shack to ourselves
• ... with wood heating of some kind
• Flattish day walking nearby
• No power
• Inexpensive
• Not on a main drag or on the doorstep of other shacks
• Vaguely between Hobart & NW coast – eg Central Highlands from the Lakes Hwy, Midlands-North or maybe East Coast

I’ve considered a few public walk-to huts, but of course we won’t know if anyone else is there till we get there – and it’s school hols. I guess the only way to be sure is to go to a private hut or shack. Anybody got one they share or know about??? I know it’s a pretty big ask...
I've considered scout places if available, but not really what we’re after.

Thanks for any thoughts. :)

Are you aware of Serendipity at Lake KW. It is a private hut that is open to the public when the owners arent there( well it was back in 2009).There is no other huts near it and you can drive into it with a 4wd, or it would be a couple of km s walk from a trafficable forestry road. It is hit or miss if anyone will be there or if it is still open to public. I can provide details and a couple of photos if you want to risk it.
