VIC N/E Goretex jacket and pants
Posted: Thu 19 Sep, 2013 10:14 amI have old school goretex for sale. 1x Mont large overtrousers with full length zips and 1x Mont large knee length jacket. These items must be around 20 years old but are rarely worn. they do not fit me and were given to me by my old man who was issued them for work but rarely wore them. They are in great condition except for the jacket has a ripped zip that will need resewing. There is no concession to ventilation in the jacket but it has the usual map pockets etc. Pretty rare to find a kneelength goretex jacket. It's around 1000g.
Both items are indeed large - would suit a six foot guy with broad shoulders or someone wanting to wear 3 layers underneath them. The pants have a 31 inch inseam but I believe that they're cut to be layered (to fit my legs the top of the pants comes over my ribcage....)
Also hve a Kathmandu goretex jacket from 1996, again rarely worn although much carried in the pack. One of the velcro wrist taps has come unglued otherwise in great condition. It has ventilation zips, heaps of pockets and is around bum-length. It has reinforced areas for high wear/abrasion resistance. It's described as a large, but fits me (5'8") with enough room for layering. around 1100 g
sell for 50 bucks a piece or less if you want more than one item. If no-one wants them it looks like a great st vinnies find for someone.
