[VIC Melb AusPost] Guidebooks & walkbooks (Chapman, Tempest)

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[VIC Melb AusPost] Guidebooks & walkbooks (Chapman, Tempest)

I'm selling all my guidebooks and maps before going back to France, I hope other people can enjoy them now, with fair prices depending on condition of item.

Hema Atlas & Guide : Cape York (Near mint), South West WA (near mint), Kimberley (very good condition), Tasmania (very good), Perth to Pilbara (very good). The best guidebooks on the market in my opinion. Great maps, great info and pictures, robust books. 15 $ for the near mint ones, 12 $ for the VG.

Hema Guides bundle : 55 $

-Discovering Mount Buffalo, Discovering Wilsons Prom : small 80 pages pocket books covering all walks, plants and fauna, with great little maps and photos. 3 $ each, 5 for both.

Bushwalks in the Pilbara/in the South-West : the only available books on bushwalks in Western Australia. As with Chapman's, the day walks cover all levels (some challenging walks in Karijini for example). No color photos and hand drawn maps, but still very useful, does a much better job than the chaotic park info available online for WA. 6 $ each

A guide to Priceless Campsites & Rest Areas in the North of WA : lists free campsites North of Kalbari. Hand-drawn maps and no photos but still extremely useful. 6 $

Western Australia bundle : 15 $ for the above three, all in very good condition.

An Adventurer's guide : Accross the Bight & Nullarbor, Flinders Ranges. ( http://www.guidebooks.com.au/moonguidebooks.htm ) Very useful mid-sized guides packed with infos on 4WD tracks, walks, accommodation etc... Spiral bound and in near mint condition. 18 $ for the Flinders, 14 $ for Bight/Nullarbor, 28 $ for both.

Explore Australia's National Park ( http://www.exploreaustralia.net.au/Book ... onal-Parks ) : 2013 edition of this classic. Packed with info on National Parks (history, fauna, flora, walks), great photos and color drawings, great maps. Near mint condition, 20 $.

Where to see birds in Victoria : great birdwatching book listing all the great known and less known birdwatching spots in Victoria. I've used it in many trips and it never disappointed. Very good condition, 10 $.

Hi Strider, shipping would be 13.40 $ for a 3 kg satchel (it weighs 1.1 kg for all three books, too heavy for a 500 g satchel). Maybe check out some of my maps on the other topic ( viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15834 ) to take it closer to 3 kg and have your money worth. PM me for the follow-up. Cheers.
