It's time to supplement my stupidly heavy and over the top 4 season sleeping bag with a 3 season bag for the 90% of bushwalks i go on.

I'm after a quilt for 3 season use, around the 30-40 Fahrenheit mark, preferably down but open to synthetic. Something like the Enlightened Equipment Revelation would be ideal. Looking to pay <$175.

Time is on my side, I won't be needing it until spring :)

I would have bought from EE if their shipping wasn't so expensive.

I've Just ordered one around 2 weeks ago. You could ask them about shipping it over with mine if you liked and I could forward it to you from Adelaide which wouldn't cost much? Might save a bit of money....

Thanks for the offer Mickl, but I'll pass for the moment, by the time I've paid my share of postage (which I would insist on paying) plus postage to Melb it's similar pricing.

No worries.

Just a thought though, it may be worth asking them what the cost would be with an extra in the box as it may be nothing or very minor. I'm happy to ask if you want me to since I placed the order.

I've already paid my postage and allowed for that in my cost so I wouldn't want anything from you if it was no extra cost to add yours. If it was a small amount on top of what I have already paid and you paid that plus the post from me to you, you could end up saving a fair bit...

If you check the 'in stock' quilts link on the main page they have a Prodigy 30°F, Long/Reg, Charcoal 10D Inside, Steel 20D Outside for $180 at the moment. Add a small amount for postage from me to you and you'd be pretty close to your amount wanted to spend...

No pressure, just an option for you. I'd be happy to do it as a pay if forward type deal. I help you out and in turn you help someone else out and so on.....Everyone wins :D :D

I had a look, it's $45 flat postage, I was saying in my previous post tthat I'd pay half the 45 plus shipping to Melbourne, which would end up roughly AU$250, way over my target. Thanks for offering free shipping though, but I would happily pay my share, i'm certainly not lacking for money, just seeking good value
Total cost is based on the revelation regular $205.
