Hi
Has the bag been used?
Is the back outer the Goretex windstopper fabric?
Do you know the weight of the bag?

Hi philm,
The bag has never been used, the outer shell is the Microlight XP fabric. I think the weight is between 1300grams and 1400grams?

Cheers
Danny

Hi Danny

Is this fabric water resistant?

Why are you selling the bag?

Yes fabric has good water resistance but is not water proof.
Reason for selling is that I bought it for a winter trip through Europe that didn't end up eventuating, it's been lying on my spare bed since I purchased it and it's driving me crazy to see it lying there every time I walk past the room :(
It's a really wonderful bag, I lay in it in the lounge room and there is no dead air space at all, it completely envelopes you. It's because of this I've hung on to it so long, hard to let go of special gear. What to do?

Hows the width in it Danny?

I have been looking at a Kodiak as they are supposedly wider in the shoulders. Im pretty broad across the shoulders and struggle in all standard bags Ive tried. Ive been using a quilt but a bomber bag is a great option for snow trip.

Taa,
Paul

Yeah selling that bag was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make in regards to gear, I've lay in a standard Antelope before but this one is something else, it's like lying in a custom made mould, that's no exaggeration either. What to do though? If I look further down the track I see no opportunity coming for a real winter hike, and looking at that bag just laying there every day is a little depressing. :?
Anyway it sounds like Ellobuddha is going to get some use out of it so I'll ask him to post me some feedback on how it performs and live vicariously through him
