Description: This is a beautiful ultralight hooded down jacket. Constructed with the best materials including 10d Pertex Quantum fabric and 900 fill down. It packs up into one of the two hand warmer pockets for storage and also has a chest pocket.

The jacket I'm selling is the Greenland colour and is a Medium size. The sizing is reasonably standard. Maybe on the trimmer side.

The reason for sale is that I bought a Med and Large in from the USA to be sure I got one that fit. I've decided on the large so have the Medium up for sale with tags still attached and brand new. Only use has been trying it on at home.

Full disclosure on the price: I paid $195USD from BCG. So converting that to USD and adding international shipping you're getting a great price on a new jacket that was already 40% off from the store. Get in quick while there is still some winter left.

Pity it's a hoody. If it was the jacket I'd have been interested. Can you confirm the weight please. Marmot website has the jacket at 238g and hoody at 371g. I find it hard to believe that the hood is about 1/3 of the weight, or is there some other difference between them.

The hood adds a lot of warmth and well worth the extra weight

Yeah, I love the hood. Means you don't lose a beanie. It is also better for windy conditions because you don't have a gap to fill with a buff or something else.

Weight is around 310g. So seems like Marmot has some issues using a scale.

Thanks Cam, but I was looking for one ~200g. Don't need a hood as I'm already carrying a warm hat.

I take it you don't do much snow camping then; a hood works on its own and in conjunction with a hood
