This is a specialist tool! Sensational pack, I'm just re-evaluating my goals and trips (and work and family commitments!) over the next few years and this pack won't be used or needed by me.
Designed and tested extensively by Matt Kirk, USA, who holds the record for the fastest unsupported time for the Appalachian Trail. Pack is designed for SUL/UL loads up to about 20pounds (about 9kg) including food and water. Fast and light! It would also make a perfect kids pack, as its easy to set up the harness to the perfect size for anyone.

I have assembled it to fit me perfectly which it does. I have loaded it with an SUL (~2.5kg) of gear at home and tried it around the house, but not used it in action. So its all perfect. You can undo the twist ties no worries and re-use them yourself. I was intending to replace the twist ties with cable ties now that I found the perfect positioning but never got around to it.
$80 posted anywhere in Aus.
I can include some extra mesh fabric pieces that Matt sent me if you want them. There are plenty there to make extra shoulder straps, hipbelts, etc if you want to, just how you want them.
