Wanted [VIC Geelong] Heavy woollen pants XXL

Just in case someone has a pair of old fashioned woollen pants in my size or know of a pair for sale
I have been advised to buy bigger than my actual waist size so looking for a 44 waist. 36 inch legs or longer
Need to be very thick wool at least 6mm thick I am advised
For my proposed trip to Canada

What's the thinking behind heavy woollen pants? Everyone I see here is rocking softshells over an insulating layer.

All the Canadians are advising me to wear woollen pants of 24 ounce fabric or heavier if possible. Windshell over Powerstretch is what I normally wear too but I have no experience at temperatures of -40 and lower so I'm going on the advice of Far North experts. 24 ounce wool is about 450 - 500 GSM fabric
I've grown a little to big to wear Army Surplus from Europe too as everything I've seen is a 38 inch waist or smaller

Fair enough mate, if it's commonly worn up north maybe you might be better off sourcing them there?
