FS [TAS NW Post Aus] Marmot Zoom 2 Person Tent
Posted: Tue 07 Apr, 2015 4:41 pmHi all, I'm selling my Marmot Zoom 2 Person 3.5 Season because the fly needs re-proofing and I don't have time to do it. Actually if I had time, I'd probably use the current one as a template and sew a silnylon one or the like to lighten it. Current weight is 3kg. It seems to be a really bombproof tent and we've had it for years.
The tent is in brilliant condition, the floor is excellent, no rips, holes, tears. Webbing, side release clips and zips are all good. I bought two extra replacement sections for the poles for $10 each from USA. The tent bag acts as a gear loft. Two good vestibules and doors. I think these were made early 2000. The fly needs a fresh coat of polyurethane waterproofing on it, or use the tent in summer. I think there's someone on this forum that makes tent fly's too.
Comes with a repair kit (fabric patches, stick on adhesive patches, bungee loops).
