(FS/TAS) Alpacka FX42 Explorer Pack Raft

Mentioned a while back. Have for sale this raft. It's their two person open boat and in great condition (no damage or repairs).

They are great, a pinch for two without a much smaller front companion but it 'works', nice big and stable for solo with pack or other gear (handles rapids, reasonably dry in easier white water).

Comes with the usual suspects, inflation bag, repair kit, plus extra tie down tabs in the floor and a full length CS foam fitted floor (included by choice though a bit bulky to pack/send so maybe included for pick up only.. easy/cheap to make) also their knee grip 'gravity grip' for reducing internal volume.

Would cost around $15/1600 (au) to replace (if you use a cheaper shipping method). https://alpackarafts.com/product/explorer-42/

$1250 delivered/pick up NW Tas.

Reluctant sale but necessary, building up too much of a personal gear horde.
I'll get some pics at some stage (probably next weekend) Not advertised elsewhere for sale yet, any interest will be answered on a first come basis so leave a message or note in this thread.

Thanks!

hmmm, bit of an unusual one I guess. I think it's a reasonable price? Try $1200? (there will be someone around (NW Tas) on the weekend if anyone wants to give it a try)

Well. Looks like its still here. Just a reminder, this model doesn't come with the spraydeck option from Alpacka (see link..) and i'd be hesitant about adding one. The extra floor straps allow a spare paddle to be lashed into the floor, above the foam liner, which in theory would help but they (Alpacka) are concerned about folding and entrapment.

Bump $1100 firm
