Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[ACT] MONT MOONDANCE 2 TENT

Postby Supertramp » Mon 30 Nov, 2015 1:20 pm

Hi All,

I have a Mont Moondance 2 Tent that I no longer use, so I need it gone.

Tent is like new, has been only used two times (in the backyard) it also comes with an extra Mont compression bag.

Looking to get $400 for it.

I will have to set the tent up to get pictures of it, but it the previous (not the current) model, exactly the same as this one:

I don't suppose you have a footprint for it that you'd also like to sell (separately)?

Nah sorry Drew I don't.
Why do you want the footprint? Is it so you can set up just the fly when it's raining or when hot? Or to protect the bottom of the tent?

Just for pitching without the inner to reduce weight when there are no mozzies around.

Have you ever thought about using some other material, but also using some string in an X shape to has loops on each end to allow the poles to attach to?

Yep, exactly what I'm thinking of! Just some webbing in either an X shape or a rectangular outline with eyelets in corners for the poles. Just started a topic about it here: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=21915
