I'm selling my Zpacks bag, it's X-long with the Wide girth, I'm just under 6'3" and it fits perfectly. There are a couple of mods I had Joe do to it, it has the neck baffle and extended zip down to the bottom of the foot box. The down is 900fp and it weighs 805grams including the cuben stuff sack. This is without a doubt my favourite bag, I've never had to wear a down jacket inside, even at -5C and I sleep cold. The only thing that could be improved is the foot box, I think it's a little light on, if it is going to be cold I carry a thicker pair of camp socks and have never had a problem. One thing to report is a small patch on the outer fabric, I received the bag like this so I can't tell you what happened, but there is no issue with it and I have included photos for full disclosure.
Asking $440 including postage.

Circumstances have changed in my life and I won't be hiking in the foreseeable future? I find it a little distressing every time I see my gear sitting there and knowing I'm not going to be using it, so better to remove any causes of suffering

Sorry to hear that Danny
I did think about it but the footbox is far too small to go over my own bag as an extender just in case I ever do get to the Arctic

How has this not sold yet??? If I didn't have my own already I'd be on this like a fat kid on muffins.
There are plenty of other great bag/quilt makers out there that are cheaper, but so far as I know, Joe's stuff is still the lightest for the warmth you can get. Of course you pay for that...I paid a fair bit more than $440 for mine and still dont regret it. I've got the -7 as a quilt with no zip, and I regularly push it past that rating.
This is a really good deal. Someone should buy this.
(no, I don't know Danny)

A fat kid on muffins
(I'm certain that is completely inappropriate, and I shouldn't be encouraging it?
)
I agree with you though, Joe's gear is some of the best out there and this really is a great bag.

Being a side sleeper I've never had a problem with foot boxes, my feet are always pulled back from the end of the bag

I'm thinking more as an over quilt for my existing winter bag, it's one of the few light enough not to compress the down in my own winter bag
Footbox would need to be about 600*600 external to do this

Brace yourself, here's a crazy idea: What about using the zpacks bag as an inner-bag?
Crazier still - stick it on upside-down, unzip the footbox as a hole for your head, then jump in your sleeping bag.
Danny if you can't sell it here, try a forum in the 'States. Heck, maybe even contact Joe, I know he regularly sells 2nd-hand bags on his site.

I agree- it's such a good deal. I'd take it myself except I'm far to short for it.

It's possible this is sold, just waiting to clarify a few details?
