Rationalising my tent fleet so I'm selling my Sierra Designs Clip 3 tent.

In excellent condition, this tent has had minimal use (<10 nights use total), has been fully seam sealed and comes (and always used) with Tyvek ground sheet.

I originally bought it for myself and two young kids hiking, and it was great in that role.

Rated as a 3 person tent, there is generous room for two adults (squeazy but doable for 3, as per modern ratings), especially if tall.

My contemporary hike partners prefer solo sleeping arrangements so it has to go.

I think I paid around $450, asking $225 (plus postage unless pickup).

Hey, do you know what the total packed weight is (with pegs). I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Mine weighs 2800gm with Tyvek groundsheest and full peg (ie 13 - storm) compliment.

Has also been stored "loosley" to minimise off gas issues, but indeed still smells, and presents (as Tyvek groundsheet shows) like a new tent.

The original version - blue fly and tub (but only available as a clip Flashlight 2) had no seeum white closed mesh only on the inner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jM5x4OqA1o

Next version - green fly and tub (and when Clip Flashlight 3 was introduced) has a thin strip of grey open mesh between the tub and no seeum closed mesh. This is shown in the second of the links in original post and is what my tent is.

The last version of this tent - grey fly (only available as Clip2) had a full open grey mesh upper like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LdavB22YdU

I had the first version which was full fabric and the Eureka which was also full fabric and was hoping this was also
Sorry Red mesh inners are of little interest to me but it has always been one of the better designs for those who like a single entrance, very stable even in high winds

Might be semantics.

As I pointed out, original version was strictly not full fabric, in that no seeum is just fine mesh, as was Eureka (have had one of those also).

The full mesh intermediate strip does make it a tad cooler (only) in windy conditions, but also much, much drier, especially two up (compared to Salewa Leone II with no seeum zip ups on mesh doors, less space and 700gm more weight).
