Wanted to buy, Klymit mat. Looking to give the concept a go and thinking that someone else may have tried but not liked it. Others who have experience using these may comment here.

You mean the X frame style?
Yes! I have a small X-lite mat. I'm ok with it. As a semi-prone sleeper there's a bit of art in getting comfortable.
Used it on trips where keeping the weight down was important. Not the first choice otherwise. It's been with others that come back baggy eyed and unimpressed..

If you mean the enclosed static V model, yes! 3x the weight but as comfortable as any (probably moreso) and robust. As I recall, the insulated model is competitive weight-wise with other good mats.

Massdrop have their exclusive "ultralight" versions of the staticV and inertia o zone available currently. Although, they are a regular appearance so there's no rush.

Not a great option if you want/need it quickly, but the price is usually good. I've been happy with my static V on a few nights in the bush now.
