- Sil-rocket in use
I'm selling my near-new Luxe Sil-rocket tarp tent for $200 plus postage. It's a light, versatile tent in excellent condition. I used it on just one overnight walk, for 3 nights, and there are a couple of minor cosmetic marks. I've also replaced a couple of the Luxe tent pegs with better, longer pegs (as recommended in the review below).
In use the sil-rocket is a cosy, lightweight tent (just over 1.1kg!), with the mesh inner (nest) suspended from the sil-nylon fly/tarp. You use a trekking pole at the entrance for stability and headroom. I also used a short pole at the foot of the tent to increase footroom and airflow. But you can also pitch the fly in various tarp formations, as illustrated here
