Are you sure those gloves are polyester?
If military they should be Nomex, the combination works well and the Aussie trigger-finger over mitten is much lighter than the US Mutant

Yes, they are polyester.
You are right in that some military gloves are nomex, but not all.

When you say size small, is that a men's small?? Or a small small - like we'd get in outdoor shops here?

Sizes are:
* Roeckl Gore WindStopper: 7.5 (men's small, women's medium-large)
* Roeckl GoreTex: 7 (men's small, women's medium)
* Combat gloves: men's small (equivalent of women's medium-large)
* Waterproof mittens: men's small (equivalent of women's medium-large)
