Hi GG, does this come with a pole or have you been using trekking poles?

I'm about 5'10, and I found the fit to be quite good, not super roomy length wise if you pitch super low, but I have a buddy who is 6'2 and he fit well enough. Because of the design, you can sleep on a bit of an angle to get more room as well, and you can do a lot with the pullouts. It has enough angle in the pitch that I found a decent amount of usable room at both head and feet. really its like any other non-dome tent, you get more height in the middle for the sacrifice of fabric closer to your face that what you'd get with a dome.

for comparison, I'm now using a tarptent notch, and have found it similar in functional length, even though the notch is shorter, but with the Mid, you do get more room out towards the edges if you just need to stash gear. I like it, and having the room is great, but I've been using the Notch more since it fits how I've been using it better, faster setup, integrated inner. I will say though that the Mid was much more condensation resistant, and when it is wet, you are able to stay away from the wall easier, the notch is a struggle sometimes in that regard.

I've used both trekking poles and an extendable alloy awning pole, but no pole is included in this package.

And GG
The inner is from a Luxe Minipeak,
can you tell whether its the newer model, from about 2015,
the nylon goes up the walls of the nest a distance?
You can see it in the photos here

It is all mesh above the tub, so my guess then is that its the older one, which would make sense if the newer one is from 2015
