[FS Melb] Kathmandu XT Bivy Like New, used 3 nights
Posted: Thu 24 Aug, 2017 3:19 pmI bought this Kathmandu XT Bivy earlier this year because I wanted to try out what using a bivy instead of a tent would be like for bike touring and hiking. Unfortunately for me I am somewhat claustrophobic & also tend to move around a lot so I am selling it on. The bivy has been used for three nights. I had some rain on one of the nights and nothing got wet and no condensation built up at all. The bivy is in excellent condition and looks new.

The bivy is very well made and finished with tape sealed seams, no-see-um-mesh screen and a side zip for easy access. The base is a solid fabric that wouldn’t need a groundsheet (I always use one). It is very roomy, even with my sleeping mat and down bag inside it there was plenty of room for other gear at my feet and above my head. It has a small closable vent and a sturdy carrybag.
