Hi, I'm looking for a second hand lightish weight sleeping bag (long) say, 0 degrees to -5 degrees. I'm sure there are examples out there gathering dust, ready to be moved on to a home where they will be put to good use.

Hi Moondog, thanks for the suggestion. I think I would swelter in the bag on most nights, with no zip to let the steam out! If only I could spend more time out in the white season it would make perfect sense.

You said you wanted a 0C to -5C bag. In warmer weather you simply don't use the hood, it is actually comfortable to around 12C when not closed up.
If you only want a -5C survival rating there are plenty out there

Hi dashandsaph, I'm selling up after years of mass consumption (of hiking gear)...so...you may also like the sleeping bag or quilt I have just put up for sale.

Thanks everyone for all the responses. I've pulled the trigger on a quilt from Bmo.
