Comes with straps to fit snuggly with your mattress...you can enclose the footbox quite tightly. My first quilt, I love the versatility and lightness but this one is not quite warm enough for me (I'm soft!). I slept but was a little cool using this with a down jacket at zero degree celcius in the Flinders Ranges. In my mind, this is a great quilt for say 3-5 degrees plus temperatures.
