SOLD [VIC Mel Post Aus] Berghaus Ulvetanna 1200 sleeping bag
Posted: Fri 15 Jun, 2018 3:47 pmI have for sale a Berghaus Ulvetanna 1200 sleeping bag. It's in new condition, tag still attached and always been stored at full loft (it takes up a lot of space!). I bought it from Mountain Designs before they closed up with a dream of going somewhere cold enough to use it. That doesn't look like happening anymore so I'm selling it to fund some local adventures.
It's rated Comfort -41°C, Limit -54°C, and Extreme -76°C, so it's a pretty warm bag. Weight is 1900g

An ultra-light Pertex Endurance shell is highly water resistant, windproof and breathable offering additional protection against water and condensation.
Features:
- Insulation in extreme conditions is provided through the use of 1200g of 850 fill hydrophobic goose down – treated with our innovative Hydrodown technology
- Features a two zone body mapped insulation design which delivers additional warmth to the head and torso where your body needs it as well as around the feet
- a 3/4 length YKK zip with anti-snag zip baffle allows for an friendly user experience
- Additional comfort is achieved with the box wall construction which eliminates cold spots in the insulation alongside a neck baffle to keep body heat inside the bag and an adjustable hood drawcord
When I purchased it, it didn't come with a compression sack or storage bag, but Mountain designs provided one of their pack liners (I think 60 litres) which I will include with the sale.
Hoping to recoup some costs, so looking for $600. RRP from memory is a touch above $1200 so I think this is reasonable, but I'm more than happy to discuss if you think otherwise.
