I found two Toboggan/Sleds on quite a steep section of remaining snow and towed them back to Mawsons last weekend, which was quite entertaining. Looking through Mawsons Hut Log Book the two sleds were abandoned by Cameron Bell and Roger Muller on the 16th August and they were coming back to recover them. They are stored around the back of the hut. Can anyone who knows these blokes pass on the news?

I think I know these guys - I'll pass it on/check if they are their sleds.

I met these guys the next day (after bad weather forced them to stash the sleds) at Valentines. They were going to return via the Kerries and pick them up but bad weather forced them to return via Duck creek. They didn't seem too concerned about the loss of materials - nor of the litter left.

See how it goes, J M - as I said it was quite amusing dragging the sleds back to the hut..!

Well I've passed the news on (via a few intermediates) and the owners are aware. I think they'll be up to collect them when they get a chance.
