I picked up two brand new (no tags) high quality Mystery Ranch Urban Assault Day Packs. The have a RRP of US$139 (about $190 Australian). They have an interesting design with the zips which allow the bag to be either top accessed or fully opened up. Cordura 500 fabric and stiffened frame sheet along with a long back makes for a sturdy, comfortable day pack. 21 litres capacity (seems bigger) with external top pocket, two internal zipped pockets and laptop divider.

Here are a photo of the base of the pack


and the attachment point for a waist strap if required. The pack doesn't come with a waist strap and I noticed that Mystery Creek doesn't seem to offer one as an accessory.
